Far From Home

A series of six paintings done in my first year living in New York that reflect my first impressions of the saturation and density of culture, architecture, movement, lettering, graffiti, and admiration for New York City, as well as my view of San Francisco from afar, my first chance to reflect on my city from a distance, to embrace it's unique and quirky self, it's genuine beauty and deep personal love for it's identity.
